Just look at their B-Ref pages, and compare them by age. Baker was not even close to as good as Berrios. I think you're overreacting to his bad form so far this season.

Berrios is going in the wrong direction. I was never a fan of Scott Baker, but Berrios isn’t better just because we want him to be. Truthfully, so far this year , Berrios sucks

I'm not saying that. I'm saying their WHIPs and ERAs are as close to identical as you can get. Nothing more. What do I know? I know that Berrios isn't an ace. He may be a credible #3, that's okay.

I agree he sucks so far this year. I believe he'll turn it around. He has three solid years prior to this. Sometimes he's been bad, but sometimes he's been all-star calibre.

Hes got good stuff , but he has trouble with control, way too many walks. I like what Jack Morris said”I wish his fastball was his favorite pitch”. Jose loves that breaking ball, but he can’t throw it for strikes

I don't think so, he posted some mediocre stats in AA last year as a starter and couldn't get deep into games. He looks much better in the pen (he played a bit in AAA as a reliever last year).
