Kyle Gibson wrote up some thoughts about leaving the Twins, the Twins community and joining the Rangers... As always, Gibson is classy, even in leaving. It's been a joy to get to know him, to watch him pitch and all he does in the game and in the community.

Couldn't stand watching him pitch, but then I heard him interviewed--the guy is a mensch.  Good luck in Texas Gibby!

He is a guy that gets it.  Always nice to see players be incredibly thoughtful.  He will be missed but I still think he needed a fresh start.  Hopefully his moving on works out OK for the Twins as well.

Gibson has always been a class act. I hope he has a successful career in Texas as well as being able to manage his medical condition.
