As much as I'd like to monitor this spring training exercise, I gotta bounce. My daughter got basketball games this afternoon. Take care y'all. Go Twins!

Kyle Gibson is going to get eviscerated if he has to pitch against the Yankees. If the Royals and Tigers are putting up tons of baserunners on him, just imagine what New York will do.

Maybe he's now at the point where the Twins running him out there would be so bizarre that the Yankees would be too stunned to hit him.

Admittedly this has a very limited history as a postseason baseball strategy, but it worked awfully well in whichever Lethal Weapon it was that Danny Glover did the Funky Chicken to confuse the flamethrower wacko.

You can see on his face how much he loves the game and how much he wanted to contribute to the postseason. Can't help but get teary eyed and feel bad for the kid.

The pitcher should field any popup that comes down on the mound. That is all.

or you could blame Astudillo, or you could blame Rocco for playing him or you could just realize that it’s sports and players get hurt

In a nothing game....a devastating injury which sure looks like the end of the line for Arraez this season. What a horrible break.

end of the line? Ok doctor

It was not the intent of my comment to assign blame for this injury. It just seems like common sense that the player who is already standing there should be the one to make the play.

The tears could be from pain. And where he grabbed his leg ... ugh ... hope it’s not his Achilles.
