notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Ian Miller idolized Marwin Gonzalez? That's odd.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Alright Littell! Mow ‘em down!
obtusebanter Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Author Posted September 28, 2019 As much as I'd like to monitor this spring training exercise, I gotta bounce. My daughter got basketball games this afternoon. Take care y'all. Go Twins!
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 If I’m not mistaken, Jack Morris once had a 10-inning shutout. Seems like it was in October, if I remember correctly.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Kyle Gibson is going to get eviscerated if he has to pitch against the Yankees. If the Royals and Tigers are putting up tons of baserunners on him, just imagine what New York will do.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 The sandbox analogy was, perhaps, the worst thing I've ever heard on television.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Good to see Garver seemingly feeling better.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Kyle Gibson is going to get eviscerated if he has to pitch against the Yankees. If the Royals and Tigers are putting up tons of baserunners on him, just imagine what New York will do. Maybe he's now at the point where the Twins running him out there would be so bizarre that the Yankees would be too stunned to hit him. Admittedly this has a very limited history as a postseason baseball strategy, but it worked awfully well in whichever Lethal Weapon it was that Danny Glover did the Funky Chicken to confuse the flamethrower wacko.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Gibson two inning over/under 50 pitches Yes.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Great, Arraez is dead.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 This is very bad. Just another day as a Minnesota sports fan.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 The pitcher should field any popup that comes down on the mound. That is all.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 No, not Sweet Luis! Aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrgggghhh!

MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 You can see on his face how much he loves the game and how much he wanted to contribute to the postseason. Can't help but get teary eyed and feel bad for the kid.
insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 In a nothing game....a devastating injury which sure looks like the end of the line for Arraez this season. What a horrible break.

notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 I actually had a feeling Boom Stick would go deep here after the mood dropped.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 I'd rather lose the game and have Arraez.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 In a nothing game....a devastating injury which sure looks like the end of the line for Arraez this season. What a horrible break.end of the line? Ok doctor
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Good thing they didn't just randomly DFA Schoop.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Well Schoop time to step up, What a way to get hurt,- HOPE
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Watching that replay, what was Arraez even doing there? We can’t have nice things.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 or you could blame Astudillo, or you could blame Rocco for playing him or you could just realize that it’s sports and players get hurtIt was not the intent of my comment to assign blame for this injury. It just seems like common sense that the player who is already standing there should be the one to make the play.
