This game is a clone of yesterdays. Tigers not hitting but scoring in the first, while Twins can't get anything going properly.

The 'd' tonite is very disturbing. They look like they have already clinched and are just cruising.

 

Cron is playing but it doesn't look very promising with his bat. He just can't mash the ball anymore with that injured thumb.

 

I agree though...why can't we do to the tigers what Cleveland did to Chicago last night?

The Twins played Mauer last year didn’t they?

I'd also point out that Mauer's knees were obviously in much better shape than Cabrera's.

 

I probably wouldn't notice so much if it weren't so obvious that Cabrera isn't close to 100 percent.

That wasn’t really known for sure until after the season. And it isn’t unreasonable to think that Miggy could hang ‘em up after the year and let the Tigers’ insurance pay his salary the next few years (actually, I would bet the Tigers would LOVE that).

Well, I'd say Cron has been pretty good at first, but he's made quite a few errors, much like Schoop. Cron has 8 errors at first in 113 games.

How about this: Twins have lost 13 straight post season games since 2004. They are 87-35 against Yankees in recent years. These are a couple trends that have to be terminated
