LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Unlimited challenges? I wasn’t aware of this and I’ve watched almost every game lolafter seven if you want a challenge you can ask the ump, look it up .
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 so just go without?, catchers get hurt, you always need a backup Hence Astudillo. Castro just doens't have it anymore. He's a sure out nowadays. Maybe Astudillo is too, but at least he has the ability to put the bat on the ball and maybe move a guy over.
Krabby5 Verified Member Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 For throwing 100 mph, batters don’t really seem to have that much trouble with Graterol.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Today I told my Indians fan coworker that it’s over. I’m an idiot. Retract that tomorrow! Tell him the Indians are going to win it all! lol
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 It is truly amazing how average this team is at homeNo one is forcing you to watch. Turning the TV off always helps the blood pressure.

twinssporto Verified Member Posted September 19, 2019 Author Posted September 19, 2019 You started off slow out of the box, just like Eddie. That was your problemhttp://truecolorsradio.ru/labels/Pointer%20Sisters%20-%20Slow%20Hand.jpg

operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 garver has played in 87 gamesI just feel he needs to play more is all! \m/

Maybe Astudillo is too, but at least he has the ability to put the bat on the ball and maybe move a guy over. I don’t really care if the catcher has a high BA. I’d like a catcher who is actually okay behind the plate. That’s not Astudillo. No way I go with him as my back up catcher over Castro.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Sox have had a rough last 4 games. 3 walkloffs, lets make it 4
glunn Community Moderator Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Twins need only 2 to tie this. Easy peasy.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 after seven if you want a challenge you can ask the ump, look it up .I think the umpires can only challenge a call themselves after the 7th (if a team has already used a challenge). Managers don’t have unlimited challenges after the 7th

With the days off and every game pretty much being a night game, there's really no need for Garver to not start every game. Moot point as I see scenarios where both guys make the roster. I'm just saying Castro is not good. Not good at all.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 It’s too bad that the tigers are an absolute embarrassment to baseball and never contribute anything. Taking 2 of 3 in a series shouldn’t cost the twins any ground but it looks like it wilk
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 I think the umpires can only challenge a call themselves after the 7th (if a team has already used a challenge)you can ask the ump for a challenge on a close play in the last three innings if you don’t have a challenge

Bomba2026 Verified Member Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Can you please just win a game on my night off?
twinssporto Verified Member Posted September 19, 2019 Author Posted September 19, 2019 Is Colome available for the playoffs? Can we trade for him now?
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Well can't win them all. Won the series. Now let's take 3 of 4 from the Royals. Forget tonight and focus on tomorrow. Twins still in a good position.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 you can ask the ump for a challenge on a close play in the last three innings if you don’t have a challengeCan you link to that? I can’t find it. I’m not saying your wrong I just can’t find it. If that’s true what would stop a manager from challenging multiple times in the last 3 innings

Moot point as I see scenarios where both guys make the roster. I'm just saying Castro is not good. Not good at all. He’s actually the better catcher, imo. I’m talking about skills behind the plate. Garver is the better hitter. I think they make a good pair to have, with Castro as the back up. They will both make the roster. I don’t think it’s even a question. No way Astudillo supplants Castro.
insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Not our night. Cleveland creeps up a notch. Sox bullpen kept us off balance all night long.Castro v Astudillo? Well, Castro stopped hitting in September. Really stopped hitting. Astudillo hasn't hit well this month either but he at least makes contact. Doubt Twins will leave Castro off...but he has become an automatic out in the lineup.
