Also, not sure how Garver didn't pinch hit for either Astudillo or Adrianza. It sure seemed like he was ready to pinch hit, not sure why they didn't give him a chance there...

Yeh, you don't want to waste your hottest HR hitter on a 2-men-on, nobody-out situation. Better to save him for one of those 2-out, nobody-on in the 9th situations.

I just meant Astudillo and Adrianza both batted with 2 runners on, while Wade was after Adrianza if Adrianza extended the inning.

 

Better to use Garver for Astudillo probably.

All I can say is if you're not using your sore guys now, then when is the right time to use them? When we are down 2 games in the standings? If that happens, we're finished.

There are going to be six 90 win teams in the AL in all probability. Actually, probably six with at least 93 wins. One of them isn’t going to make the playoffs at all and another one is going to be one and done. There is still no reason why one of those two teams can’t be the Twins.

Try 2.5. We'll be lucky to get past Sunday up 2.5. The Angels playing like the Tigers didn't do us any favors.
