Game Thread: Twins vs Nationals, 9/11 @ 6:40 PM

[bighat]

Looks like it's now or never, Twins!

How about now?

[ScrapTheNickname]

FRE vs. ERE!

[FlauerPauer]

Gotta love your 5th hitter with a sub .700 ops...

[ashbury]

YOUUUUUU

Yours was animated, and thus took longer to construct

[mrtwinsfan]

eHIRE ??

[FlauerPauer]

What the f*** are you swinging at!!!!! Dude is a great guy, but a terrible mlb player.

[David HK]

I was on the Tortuga bandwagon, big-time.

But there's a difference between just making contact per se, and making good contact.

Swinging at pitches that graze your shoelaces ain't gonna get 'er done.

[ashbury]

Love seeing ya Fernando,  now come on EDWARD,   SHOWTIME

Edward?

[operation mindcrime]

Why didn't we bring Garver in for Astudillo? Couldn't he play first base?

Astudillo is awful. No place on a major league roster, imo.

Could be a great coach or mascot.

Sano can't PH, huh?

[mrtwinsfan]

Geez hitters , Collars a bit tight

[Danchat]

Classic FRE, puts two baserunners on, and then goes 1-2-3 the rest of the batters. It's like he needs to get his blood pressure up, and then he can start getting outs.

Nope.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

I’d hate to think we were saving Garver for Wade.

[FlauerPauer]

Absolutely pathetic approaches there from our 4-5-6 hitters...

[ScrapTheNickname]

With this AAAA lineup the Twins will lose as many as they win?

We already have TC Bear and a Squirrel!

[Pius Jefferson]

1st and 2nd no outs and they can't get one lousy off Rodney.

[Danchat]

Also, not sure how Garver didn't pinch hit for either Astudillo or Adrianza. It sure seemed like he was ready to pinch hit, not sure why they didn't give him a chance there...

[ashbury]

He's playing 1B. First basemen bring the power. Don't let them tell you otherwise, with their fancy stats and such.

His back is sore!

Cron could of -   didnt like him hitting there, -  This might be a 3 game lead friday night against Clevinger,   Gonna be intresting

[Blake]

Is something wrong with Sano?

Yeah...nice defensive versatility, I'd like to see him win the backup job (maybe?) next year. But not an every day guy.

Astudillo's shine has worn off a bit. Still capable, but he's got a pretty low ceiling.

[mrtwinsfan]

If garver hits for wade,  with 0 or 1 on will be scratching the head

He has a sore back!

[FlauerPauer]

Night, everyone. See ya'll tomorrow.

[ashbury]

Welp.

[mrtwinsfan]

thought we would see Duffey,  another ??
