LOOOOOOOOOK AT THAAAAAAAAAAT!

[FLTwinsGuy]

Lol kepler

[MVP Nick Punto]

MK Ultra getting a little carried away, don't you think?

5 AB's for Kep against Bauer on the road and 5 homers

Bauersmeauer

[IndianaTwin]

And with those two homers, Der Schlagger just tied and now passed Mike Blowers to become all-time home run leader among those born in Germany.

I've enjoyed this thing of yours but now what are you going to write about?

[PDX Twin]

Three solo homers obviously means (in perfect hindsight!) poor batting-order construction.

[MVP Nick Punto]

Bump this sucker before he even knows what hit him

Home runs by someone named Max?

He's gotta keep going until kep has greater than 50% of all German-born homers Edited July 13, 2019 by MVP Nick Punto

We're playing in Cleveland, why am I not hearing that dam* drum?

I was thinking of checking if there are players from other European countries still ahead of him...

[PDX Twin]

Because the Indians are getting ... beat?

[MMMordabito]

What is the record for consecutive home runs off the same pitcher?

[Blake]

Kepler brought his:

MK Ultra getting a little carried away, don't you think?

Fun fact. Kepler is tied with some guy named Ted Williams for the most 3 home run games against Cleveland (2)… One more tonight please. I can have lots of fun with my colleagues with that one.

[yarnivek1972]

Odds Bauer plunks Kepler and precipitates a bench clearing brawl?

[Blake]

I was just set to complain about Cave and he went deep. Then, as I'm typing this, I hear that Cleveland went deep.

Darn it.

[IndianaTwin]

He's gotta keep going until kep has greater than 50% of all German-born homers

Now at 20.6 percent.

Barring more homers by Aaron Altherr or someone else coming on to the scene, he needs only 225 more to hit the 50 percent mark.

Fun personal fact: I saw Ted Williams have a one-home-run game in Cleveland. One of his last. (I'm not *that* old!)

Schoop will swing at anything

We're talking decades, not centuries!

Verrrry nice.

Slick DP. Who-to-What-to-Who, right? Or is it to-Whom?

[IndianaTwin]

Home runs by someone named Max?

With his 79th, he’s still trailing Alvis at 111. The bigger challenge may be to stay ahead of Muncy’s 62. He recently passed West at 77 and Carey at 70.

And then there’s Bishop (41), Flack (35), Venable (18), Marshall (15), Ramirez (4), Macon (3), Rosenfield (2), Scherzer (1), Stassi (1), Moroff (1), Surkont (1), Butcher (1), and Fiske, Lanier, Fried, Povse, Wilson, Leon and St. Pierre, all at 0.

Who to what to Who. Who wouldn't change his name because of a double play.

[PDX Twin]

I just saw the StatCast feature on Cave's home run. Interesting note showing in how many MLB parks that would have been a home run. Neat feature.
