What's this the 6th? Jake's already in the deep water for him, must be nearing 1000 pitches by now. And with that outfield, that's a lot of ABs against our bullpen...

I liked the Atteberry-Provys combo on ‘CCO a couple weeks ago.

Gellner is a pro, after a week, she’d have the rough edges smoothed. No more seasoning needed. She’s ready, I hope she gets her shot next season, at least a large chunk of next season.

I'll give you that.  The ST game I heard her call was one of those games where #87 came into the game and she was scrambling to figure out who the player was. That wouldn't happen after opening day. She also had an extended exchange with Gladden about pranking each other.  I thought it was pretty funny, but I guess others found it.... uncomfortable.

Count me out. Sorry but I've never understood "Marnie's Army". Bit to cheesy for me, frankly. Then again, I know she's kinda trapped into that box, doing the human interest stuff on the sidelines...Maybe I'd have to hear more and hope to next year in Spring Training.

 

I mean she's good, but replacing Dick n' Bert? Uh, no.

I feel like Marnie is almost a clone of Dick in style, description, and mannerism. That being said I like Dick. Don't take the last phrase ot of context. Also, Dick called games the last time we won a world series. I remember his calls that year, and I'm not ready to give up that history and nostalgia yet...

Just arriving, and that steak made me walk right back to kitchen. Although, not a big sirloin guy. Can’t beat a good ribeye, bone in. Another go to: Flat iron marinated in a can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Give that a try with some onion, fresh cilantro, and corn tortillas. Chipotle who?
