If Cron had any speed at all he would probably have around 10 more hits this season. I can remember numerous times that he's hit a ball that was deep in the hole or wasn't fielded cleanly where I would have expected an even average runner to beat the throw.

If you're gonna shift, why would you pitch a guy on the part of the plate where he can easily beat said shift?

 

Berrios is not bouncing back well from that last outing.

I get most nervous to play teams the Twins should have no trouble beating, and the White Sox come to town after just beating the Astros 2 of 3 in Houston, so I hope no one is saying, ‘Yay, we get to play the White Sox now!’ At least we won’t see Giolito this run. But we’ve always had a good rivalry with the Sox and they’ve always played us well. While we were awful last year, they were worse, and yet I still managed to sit through some horrible losses at their hands.

The Sox Park isn’t a dump. It’s not the best stadium out there for sure, far from it, but it’s not exactly a dump. Wrigley on the other hand ... I don’t care if it’s a ‘baseball shrine’ it’s a dump. There are very few seats at Wrigley where you can actually see the entire field. Food and beer choices are far worse and twice as expensive. And getting in and out of the stadium and the area, ugh, so cramped. And the drunken fans are the worst in baseball.

 

Agreed... You go to Wrigley just to go to Wrigley and everyone should go at least once. Once you've done it, you don't need to return. 

 

I wouldn't have found it without your escort BTW. They keep it cleverly hidden in a corner of Chicago. 

 

Guaranteed Rate Field... Nothing Wrong with it... Nothing Special About it.  

 

But... If you go to Chicago... You got to have the Italian Beef and have it really really wet.

I love the powder blue too. 

 

I'd be totally fine with cream, powder blue, and red alts.

 

It will always be special. I grew up on that Jersey and I grew up straight and strong. I'm a first class American. 

 

I've spent only one day in Jail, I pay my taxes and it's because that Jersey was a positive influence on me.
