Sure they play in a dump, but come on, we played in the mother of all dumps for 28 years. No need to cast stones from our end.

The Sox Park isn’t a dump. It’s not the best stadium out there for sure, far from it, but it’s not exactly a dump. Wrigley on the other hand ... I don’t care if it’s a ‘baseball shrine’ it’s a dump. There are very few seats at Wrigley where you can actually see the entire field. Food and beer choices are far worse and twice as expensive. And getting in and out of the stadium and the area, ugh, so cramped. And the drunken fans are the worst in baseball.

Agree except the cramped Urban setting rocks and if you want great food you get it outside the park before the game.

Yeah, not a fan of that, though, tbh ... the cramped, urban setting. However, the Cubs' owners are buying up everything in the area ... who knows what that will look like down the road.

I don't see Hawk Harrelson listed as a broadcaster for the Sox. Are the current guys any more tolerable? I always enjoyed hearing Hawk rationalize when his team was taking a beating, and I would hope there will be a lot of need for that in this series.

You do know that Hawk retired, yes? His last game from Sox vs Cubs last season. He gone!

Concur that they blew it.

But I’d still rather go to and watch a game at the Sox park than at Wrigley. Every day. Any day.

Concur. It's better to see a game in a nice boring stadium than in a grossly-overrated dump.

And don't forget the rest rooms. Eeeeeeeew.

In other words, Wrigley is great except for the ballpark.

Whose drunken fans do you rate as the best?

I try my darnedest not to keep up with Sox news. But if he gone, I happy.

Oh good. Jack Morris...

I like Jack. And I’m interested to hear what he has to say about Berrios tonight. (Plus he does it in a Minnesota accent).

what do people actually do with bobble heads?

I have a Fernando Valenzuela bobblehead still in its box, somewhere in my basement. Will probably give it to a Dodgers fan some day.

I only have the one, but it's the Kent Hrbek - Ron Gant bobblehead from several years back. You know, when Ron Gant lost his balance and fell off the base while Hrbek was holding the ball.

I displayed it at my desk when I worked in Atlanta in 2016.

OK boys, my alarm is going off at 3 a.m. tomorrow for work.Let's make this game a laugher early so I can go to bed.

I own one bobblehead, and it's Mr. T.

It does nothing, except sit on my desk staring menacingly at me.

They're sacrifice bunting in the first inning?

They are running scared already, and I love it.

Yeah, I don’t think scratching out one run is going to do it for them . . . and they got nothing out of it anyway.
