Gonzalez batting 3rd?

Think of how good this team would be if Rocco’s horrible lineups were not holding back the offense.

Gonzo batting third? Pure genius I say!

[drivlikejehu]

Good thing lineup order barely matters.

[Nine of twelve]

Here's an article on optimizing batting order:

It says that the #3 slot in the batting order is not that important.

[stringer bell]

González has an OPS of .864 vs. LH pitching and a .904 OPS in the month of May.

[Nine of twelve]

Maybe it looks better in person but the Mariner catcher's chest protector looks ugly to me.

Gonzo batting third? Pure genius I say!

I would say “diluted, impure genius” but to each our own

#100 on the season. On May 18. Amazing.

[bighat]

Oh yeah CJ keep it up!

[stringer bell]

Not a typical Cron homer.

[MNT1996]

Not the 2nd deck? Cmon CJ step it up.

No, that was Cron's 100th career homer.

[bighat]

I belive LeBlanc handed the Twins a deflating loss last year, "LeBlanced" was the title here on TD if I remember correctly. Glad to see they're attacking him tonight.

My bad. I misunderstood Dick.

[Nine of twelve]

I believe that was #82 for the team for the year. Still amazing.

as if people should walk around all day knowing that Cron is sitting on 99

[stringer bell]

Good AB from Sanó.

[MNT1996]

Terrific AB from Sano

[bighat]

Sano robbed of a double there by a judgement call. We need these robot umps pronto. In 50 years people will wonder how we stayed sane needlessly suffering with the human element.

Great AB by Miguel there, fantastic BB.

[MNT1996]

Just picture this line up with 2017 Sano. It would be insane

[operation mindcrime]

I missed CROM's 100th home run!!! I was watching Nascar!

[Nine of twelve]

OK, Buck, show these Seattle fans what you can do.

[stringer bell]

Not that it will happen in this at-bat, but who will hit the Twins' first grand slam in 2019?

[stringer bell]

OK, now we know!

[bighat]

OH YEAH BUX! OH YEAH BABY!

[operation mindcrime]

Not that it will happen in this at-bat, but who will hit the Twins' first grand slam in 2019?
