USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Well **** ... I missed Buxton's GS???? Well ****. Damn you, Rachmaninov Symphony No. 2!Well, yeah, but that's pretty much any day.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Author Posted May 19, 2019 Pretty sure Arraez and Adams will get in tonight's game.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Just heard Latroy say the pitcher has more innings pitched than hits. He said that just before the 2nd inning started. Probably going to invert that particular statement this evening.

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Trivia: If Schoop hits a home run before Sano rounds the bases on his home run from the previous inning, do the runs count?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Next one is a double according to beer league softball rules
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 In kid ball, some leagues have a "ten run rule," ending the game if one team leads by ten or more runs before the 5th inning. Sadly, professionals have no such mercy rule.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Just tuned in, Anything goin on ?? WOW THIS IS AWSEOME
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Author Posted May 19, 2019 Marwin Gonzalez (single and double) rally killer.
Shaitan Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 What's the temp in SEA during this series? I feel like the offense hits better when it's warmer, but this series might change my mind.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Marwin Gonzalez (single and double) rally killer.Seriously what is he doing? Doesn’t he know he’s supposed to hit it out?
denarded Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I thought i was watching the twins play and a yankee game broke out...

It's 65 degrees but I believe the roof is closed. Hasn't seemed to matter if it's open or closed this series though. I think as long as it's above 60 degrees this team can mash.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Happy for Sano- but pleez get that chain off,
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Alright Jose. Lets have a quick inning so we can get the boys back to getting us some insurance runs.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Author Posted May 19, 2019 Twins have had four batters hit three times and Crawford and Smith haven't batted yet for the Mariners.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I have no words for this offense... just wow. LeBlanc blanked us in 2018, and it looks like we're returning the favor. I hope to see a pinch-hit AB for Luis Arraez, or possibly two. And we'll probably get to see Adams as well.

Sadly, professionals have no such mercy rule. When my sons were that age there was a 5-run inning rule. I remember one inning in which there were 8 consecutive walks.

Don Walcott Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Berrios could have learned something from watching Pineda pitch with a big lead. Just go right after them.
ScooterDance Provisional Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Twins have almost 60 more home runs than Detroit. #gardysfault
ScooterDance Provisional Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 This feeling reminds me of 2006 Twins when Johan and Liriano has that magical summer. Except we have like 17 guys on the offensive side having a magical spring. So we’re not one UCL away from despair.
