Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 C'mon, Rocco, the gig's up. Berrios isn't feeling it anymore, get a long reliever ready. Well, there we go.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Baldelli should have pulled him 3 batters ago. WTF. Just leave him out there to get crushed. I don't get it. It's 15 to 4, ffs. Every single manager in the history of baseball tries to get Berrios through five.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Author Posted May 19, 2019 Tough crowd all of a sudden. I'm sure Berríos will not be happy with his performance tonight.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I mean, it's not the worst thing that could happen. Baldelli gave Berrios a chance to work his way through the inning, qualify for the win. Berrios needs to learn to reset his mind, get back to throwing competitive pitches. A 15-0 game is strange territory for the young pitcher. It threw him off his game.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Robo-ump, o Robo-ump, where art thou? “Wisely and slow; they stumble that run fast.” At least that's what I think I heard Astudillo wheeze as he ran the bases last night.

MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Not pitching, not fielding. This is a bad sign.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Author Posted May 19, 2019 Great arm, so-so mobility, not soft hands.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 "Daddy, is that why you taught me to catch with both hands?"
ScooterDance Provisional Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I just want to effing see Arraez hit before I go to bed. JFC leggo
drock2190 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I must have missed the uniform switch at the bottom of the inning
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 2 hours, 20 minutes and not out of the 5th
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Time to shop for an Ace. I don't trust Berrios one bit if we make it to the post season
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Not pitching, not fielding. This is a bad sign. And they haven't hit a HR in like a half hour now, either. Things are pretty bad.
ScooterDance Provisional Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 We should trade Duffey to Houston so he can set MLB records by unlocking that wicked curve.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Sano's chain got in the way!
OTPS300 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I wonder if sitting in the dugout for so long this game took it toll on Berrios?

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Or maybe he just hasn't had his good stuff for a couple games. You can say that again.
ChrisKnutson Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Honestly, who cares about getting the win, Baldelli should’ve pulled Berrios when he first had 2 runners on base. Why waste mileage on your “ace” in a pointless game when you got junk arms like Duffey and Adams in the bullpen?
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 We should trade Duffey to Houston so he can set MLB records by unlocking that wicked curve. For Pressly and Springer!!!
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 A lot of negative posts for a 15-4 game. I love the offense, but it's concerning to see our "Ace" not get through 5 with a 15 run lead...
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 A lot of negative posts for a 15-4 game.Yes, but it's just one game. What's their record, smart guy? HMMMMM?????
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Buxton had a good at bat there . . . leading off . . . .
ScooterDance Provisional Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 8 pitches to buxton. Broken catchers glove. I’m so tired.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I wonder if sitting in the dugout for so long this game took it toll on Berrios? Could be, and here's hoping he keeps having to cope with double digit run support so we can find out for sure.
