MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Cron just wanted to take an inning off from hitting home runs. Respectable.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 So I hear Seattle is drafting a letter to the commish demanding all the Twins get tested for PEDs.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Twins have almost 60 more home runs than Detroit.#gardysfaultMariners pitchers are pitching to contact.
Han Joelo Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Is it weird to feel nostalgic for a now-gone corporate stadium name? It will always be Safeco to me...and the Twins keep hitting balls way up into the left field seats I used to sit in. The box score totals look like computer code right now. 10100 0 1 0 EDIT*: On my composer screen, the numbers are aligned properly. I guess I don't know how to even pretend code.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Twins have almost 60 more home runs than Detroit.#gardysfault But they're totally making up for it by taking it the other way. <P.A. Announcer, in booming voice> "No, they're not."
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Boy, the way Kepler flipped that bat..... ON A WALK!. Better call the "have your back" police. Not even a home run! The old school cronies will want a bean ball.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Man I'm actually starting to feel bad for Mariner fans now.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 The Mariners pitchers could use a pick me up...
drock2190 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I didn't even know that an major league outfielder could have 7 errors by May 18th. Are they sure he is going to the outfield with a glove?
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Happy for Sano- but pleez get that chain off,Mr. T would approve!

TFRazor Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Error #51 on the Mariners and we’re not even in June
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 11 11 0 0 1 1That didn't last long.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Hey, Twins, stop scoring runs! I need to be able to skip an inning and catch up! Just kidding.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 So random question, does a pitching change count as a mound visit every time? Because..... I think Seattle’s going to need more than 6
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 The Vikings have added a safety!!!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Man, this Mariner team is bad defensively.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Considering how bad the Seahawks defense is, we should have more points.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 The Vikings have added a safety!!! You sure they didn't miss 2 extra points?
Blake Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Don't know if it's been mentioned, but the Seattle catcher needs to get some framing training. The obviously "snatch into the strike zone" isn't going to cut it. Especially when the glove moves 6 to 8 inches.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 You sure they didn't miss 2 extra points? No they’re pretty much scoring at will.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 End of 4th inning...at 840pm Ca time. Yawn, I'm getting sleepy... I just don't want to start assuming wins, like Boston fans. Let's just enjoy them when they happen.
gil4 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Just checking in. Good to see I haven't missed anything.Just warming up.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 You sure they didn't miss 2 extra points? Given the Vikings history with kickers this is by far the more likely scenario

jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 When my sons were that age there was a 5-run inning rule. I remember one inning in which there were 8 consecutive walks. That's exactly what I remember, too. Sometimes kid pitchers simply can't throw the ball for strikes. It's cruel to make them suffer the ignominy of getting humiliated by their own lack of training.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I'm posting this as an anti-jinx, making sure nobody thinks this is a sure win for us. https://sabr.org/gamesproj/game/august-5-2001-cleveland-overcomes-12-run-deficit-beat-mariners I remember watching this game. There was one point at which Cleveland had cut the deficit to about 5 and the camera showed Lou Piniella in Seattle's dugout. He had an unbelievably sour look on his face, knowing what was happening, knowing what was going to continue to happen, and knowing that no matter what he did it would turn out bad. It was priceless.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 So random question, does a pitching change count as a mound visit every time? Because..... I think Seattle’s going to need more than 6 Nope...only counts as a visit if they leave the poor schlep in.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I thought i was watching the twins play and a yankee game broke out...From 1927.
