MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I bet Jose is loving the shift so much tonight
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Stop shifting! They're wise to it!!
drock2190 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Berrios is probably wondering why we are still shifting up 15
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 In 2006, Ozzie nicknamed the Twins team the "Piranahs". So what would he call this current team? Sharks or Whales not an option. The "Crocodiles" sounds pretty good to me.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Berrios...just attack these guys. You're up 15.

MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 The comeback has begun. Get Rogers warmed up.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I'd yank Berrios right now. He has lost his focus. Difficult to stay sharp in an odd game like this one.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Jason Castro paying a visit to Kepler tomorrow to find out "why you didn't come up with that double to right in the 5th last night, Max. It coulda meant the ball game."
drock2190 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Rocco going to pull him before the win. Fantasy players everywhere irate
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Baldelli, I've said this before: You gotta know what you're seeing. Berrios has lost it. He's not missing bats. He's throwing hits all over the place.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 You can probably recreate it in 'MLB: The Show 19' by playing as the Twins with the difficulty level on 'Toddler', and with the Mariners' defensive ability set to 'Marsupial'.Sounds like effort. Wake me up for the next game thread intro...

I just don't sense a killer instinct in Berrios in his last couple starts. Right now he just looks dazed. He should be rearing back with nothing to lose.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Great play by Sano! Nice hustle!!!
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Thank god the Twins scored 15 runs. Berrios stuff doesn't look good.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 If this is a HS game and I'm behind the plate, I'm watching this half inning develop with a sense of dread that the home team is going to somehow get enough runs to make me stay here another inning. It's not a fun feeling.
OTPS300 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Was going to go with that, seeing that my first car was a 1964 Barracuda.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Robo-ump, o Robo-ump, where art thou?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Missed the 4th pitch strike call big time.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Baldelli just trying to get Berrios a win. Man is he blowing this inning.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Struggling to get through 5 when your team gave you a 15 run lead. Aces dont do that.
jkcarew Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 About 3/4 of the season for Berrios now without an effective curve ball...no ability to throw it for a strike when he needs to.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Berrios , im glad rocco pulled ya,
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Baldelli should have pulled him 3 batters ago. WTF. Just leave him out there to get crushed. I don't get it.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I hate to say it, but things like this can be huge momentum changers
