I love seeing Rosario in RF the last few days. I feel like he and Kepler should be switched around full time with the arm strength aspect, not sure why it hasn't been done yet.

Since I'm in Pittsburgh, I watched last night's game on Pittsburgh TV. I will be doing the same today.

The announcers were in love with Target Field. It was cool to see. It's interesting to see what outsiders have to say about Target Field.

By the way, if you have never been, try to make a trip to PNC Park. I saw the Twins there in 2015 and earlier this year. It's a beautiful park. If you haven't gone, put it on your list.

How do you know if Austin is going to hold his own against legitimate right-handed pitching if you don't let him try in these games?   I can see sitting him in this situation in theoretical 2019 scenarios, but now now.  (And we better have better alternative than Adrianza by then.)

Spot on and thats what worries me with Molly the rest of the way this year, and what about 2nd base , if not bringing forsythe back at any money amount, we need to maybe know what the plan is , and same with Mauer, alot of un-answered questions would like to see  brought up ??

As long as it isn't Gordon .... He's been sucking at AAA

Before this year, Berrios has been a good day pitcher. But this year he's 3-6 and an ERA approaching 5. Hope he settles down and gets some quick innings going forward. Good to see the bats get to Archer, too.

Would have liked to see Molitor let Berrios work out of that mess. Now is the time to let him work through those things. A pitcher, especially one deemed to be an ace, needs to learn to get out of a mess when he doesn't have his best stuff.

So, after being (by today’s standards anyway) something of a workhorse in the first half, this is Berrios’ third start of his last 4 in which he failed to complete 5 innings.

Concerns?

Wow, this is three games in a row against decent teams that Berrios has fallen apart.  Not a good sign.

This was Berrios's 14th start of the year against teams that are 500 or better (currently).   His numbers in those 14 starts:  ERA - 5.56; WHIP - 1.49; W/L/(ND)-   2-7 (5); Team record in those games:  4-9 (with this game in the balance).
