mikeee Provisional Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 funny to see the game day pitch locator on that last one... dang.
tvagle Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Garvsauce pushing those strikes at the bottom of the zone into balls Be a professional...work on your craft more than a HS sophomore
FunnyPenguin Provisional Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Lynn for the Yankees today 4 1/3 innings, 5 ks and NO WALKS Couldn't he have done that here just once?
bighat Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 This performance, along with many other examples, is why nobody wanted to trade for Rodney.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Dan G has been quite critical of the players and management today
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Lynn for the Yankees today 4 1/3 innings, 5 ks and NO WALKS Couldn't he have done that here just once?Obviously, all he needed was to shave his beard off.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 We're gonna win Twins, we're gonna score!
gocgo Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Obviously, all he needed was to shave his beard off. Yeah, I hardly recognized him.

wavedog Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Wasn't strike 3 but close I guess
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 the good news is that it's officially august, so this nightmare will be over soonThis one is a daymare, i think.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 I can’t wait for Mauer to be gone. I wish he had been part of the purge. He hasn’t been an impact player since 09.
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 This one is a daymare, i think.The Logan's aren't nearly as entertaining as the Ed's
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 I can’t wait for Mauer to be gone. I wish he had been part of the purge.tell us how you really feel! ps i was also wondering if they would move him
wavedog Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Great bunt there by Polanco - LOMO is the tying run!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Now the other Logan gets a whack at that...
wavedog Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Well, we have seen a lot of that this year.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Oh well. Thanks for the company. Drown my sorrows in some non-poultry eddibles. Probably with gravy.
mrmpls Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 55 left, folks. thank god.20-35 record- hope im way off,
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 I can’t wait for Mauer to be gone. I wish he had been part of the purge. He hasn’t been an impact player since 09. OPS of .862 or higher and WAR of at least 4 in three different seasons since '09.....but ok.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Facebook game? Seriously? I'm trying this out, the game hasn't even started yet, and this is already a garbage way to watch. Laggy, poor quality (I'm testing 120 Mbps down, so it's not me), and incredibly irritating thumbs up icons floating around the screen. I pay for mlb.tv, and being seven hours ahead of Minnesota, I hardly get to watch live. This ****ing sucks.Same here. I quit facebook because they're getting too intrusive, and I paid good money to see ALL Twins games on my computer, but now mlb.com has done a deal with the devil, and is denying me access to the games I paid for!
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 OPS of .862 or higher and WAR of at least 4 in three different seasons since '09.....but ok.None of them since 2013, but ok.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 OPS of .862 or higher and WAR of at least 4 in three different seasons since '09.....but ok. Our definition of impact differs. Walks and soft singles to left are by definition rarely impactful.
jimmer Verified Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 OPS of .862 or higher and WAR of at least 4 in three different seasons since '09.....but ok. Good luck with trying to use logic in this particular debate. Along with what you wrote, I guess that 8th place MVP vote in 2010 was just a ballot voting issue as were the three All Star appearances, the couple silver sluggers and a GG after 2009. But hey, never had 100 or more RBI...that's how we prove value. And darn him for getting a concussion that made him move from catcher ;-)
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 None of them since 2013, but ok. What does that have to do with the original statement?
