Well, if they're going to get Romero back up, I'd be for that. But for whatever reason Belisle needs a roster spot all to himself. I think I'd rather have Tyler Kinley back on the roster rather than him.

 

I still don't understand why Fernando was sent down. He's a rookie and is going to make mistakes; let the kids play. It's not only Belise, but Magill, the fact that Taylor Motter was claimed, Fernando Rodney is still the closer, Pressly gets used every other game, Reed is still used in high leverage situations while getting shelled, Wilson keeps playing, Morrison is still on the team...

 

There's a whole lot of problems...

Hitting .192? .640 OPS? 29 RBI? Mediocre defense? Dude needs to go; trade or release him, does not matter at this point.

 

I think it's more of the fact of how he changed his number to 99 and how he handled interviews before actually playing a game. Don't change your number to imitate the best power hitter in the league and hit .192 with nine home runs.

 

Honestly, this is the first inning of baseball I've watched in almost two weeks. This team just isn't very fun to watch. I regret getting my MLB.tv subscription so early and not getting the MiLB.tv instead; probably going to do that next year.

Got to meet him last week. Seemed like a stand-up guy with a nice sense of humor. Dude is SUPER tall... may have picked the wrong sport, lol.

I haven't seen that article. I guess being a Twins fan we get ticked when we don't sign guys to high dollar contracts, but honestly, they aren't conducive to success. Has Davis been worth it since signing that huge deal? Only four seasons of +.800 OPS in 11 years as a major league ball player. And people want to complain about Mauer's huge contract...

His catching ability cannot possibly be that good that he is still on this team. And if he's a "mentor" to Garver, obviously isn't doing a hell of a job teaching him the finer points of receiving.

Slegers pulled after 72 pitches so we can go to our overworked bullpen.  they couldn't even give him one batter in the 7th to see how it goes?
