I actually have something shoe-wise to contribute.

 

2 decades ago, during a camping trip, my uncle took my pop, my brother and me to a fancy shoe place.

 

My pop and bro got shoes, but they figured my feet might still be growing, so i didn't get 'em.

I went to count my shoes, got sidetracked cleaning out the litter box, and come back to find the game thread totally derailed by the Twins hitting homers and whatnot.  Back on topic please.

I don't know how many people have told me that they can't watch baseball because it's too "boring."  I started watching this game in the 3rd inning and saw Our Fair Team fall behind 8 to nothing.  And yet I persisted.  I kept watching because though my team was getting whomped, I could still watch the pitcher/batter duel which can be enjoyed despite the score.  And now my team has rewarded me.   Mmmm Baseball.

No back on topic for me. I was on topic earlier and the game was a total downer. Since shoe talk the team has come back. Yikes Lindor with another home run. 8-9
