Puckett34 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 You could say that he took 1st base for Granite. Jerr and Funkytown 2
wavedog Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Obnoxious Yankee fan makes great catch on foul ball and then hikes pants up. priceless
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 I thought about that after I posted...and Castro looked really bad tonight, I guess my only issue is are we quitting? Are we taking players out? Did they move rosario to center and take out Granite because of the missed base?See above your post.
amjgt Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 That was a mercifully quick bottom of 8, for those of us that have mentally committed to watching until the bitter end
big dog Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Wow, this might have been at least kind of fun without the constant bitching. Have a great night everyone. Craig Arko and Riverbrian 2
LaBombo Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 (edited) Judge seemed relatively ok for a Yankee, but then I found that he's wearing 99 without knowing who Gretzky is... http://davenaves.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/doc-holiday-i-hate-him.jpg Edited October 4, 2017 by LaBombo Hosken Bombo Disco and snepp 2
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 where the game turned..... another umpire gaff. time for automation. Plate umpire gives the Gregorius the strike three call and calls a ball on pitch 5..... and he homers and he homers on the 6th pitch. Ervin has to throw 13 more pitches. The game should be 3-0 with Bird leading off the 2nd. Instead gifted by the umpire... the game is 3-3. At least the Twins earned their runs fair and square.
wavedog Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Let's put up a 5 spot - got them right where we want them - overconfident. LaBombo 1
amjgt Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Adrianza has to stay in the game. Just in case someone else gets hurt. He’s the back up for third, short and second.Pffft... Gimenez isn't burned yet
LaBombo Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Realistically, Adrianza is the best pinch hitter the Twins have. He might end up being the best available reliever before it's over.
rghrbek Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 (edited) If he's benching guys because of bone head plays then Rosarios air mail was ok? I get it his bat is one of the few potent ones in this line up against this bullpen, but a weird time to send a message to a rookie IMO Edited October 4, 2017 by rghrbek
Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 More likely to happen. Mauer K's to end the game or Mauer meaningless two out hit? Danchat and Hosken Bombo Disco 2

He was not going to get the call. Alfonso Marquez was the least of the reasons the twins lost tonight

PseudoSABR Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Feel free to look back. I've been saying it for a month. It's funny, because I wonder what the hot take on starting Severino is... It's easy to second guess decisions, when the team lacks the assets to make an impervious decision. There's plenty of blame to spread around, but I don't fault Molitor for starting Santana. rghrbek and Hosken Bombo Disco 2
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Good game, Robbie. 0-4 with 3 Ks. Not sure sano would have helped, but he couldn't have done much worse. h2oface 1

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Possibly the worst swing I've ever seen from dozier. Twins should decline their postseason berth next year if they match up with NY. For all of us. I notice the rah rah fans have long since signed off GardyParty 1
