Al Neuman

Quickest transition from catch to throw ever. Ball didn't stop in his glove, just rebounded as part of his throwing motion. Beautiful.

Pat Mahomes.....nuff said.

I thought Mahomes was gonna be a superstar. Not quite, but he was pretty good. His son is now a very promising rookie QB for the Chiefs. Great arm.

OK...LOVE this idea! So will stay away from Smalley and Wyneger. Or do those two apply now? Lol

Mike Marshall
Pete Redfern
Doug Corbett

Marshall, great screwball, wrote a book on how to throw it without wrecking your arm.

Redfern was supposed to be a front line starter. Whoops.

Corbett's sinker was well nigh unhittable, until his arm fell off.

Correct me if I'm misremembering after all these years, but didn't Redfern's career end to a fall or diving accident when he broke his neck?

Glenn Williams at the time his career came to an end he had an active hitting streak of 13 which was the longest hitting streak to start a career, not sure if it was the longest to end a career too.

I noticed that Florimon had been playing some center field for the Phillies recently .... until he suffered a pretty bad  injury to his leg last week. He had also --- if can believe it --- been hitting well!

Phil Hughes. I heard him doing an ad on Twins radio the other day and I was like "huh. I remember that guy!"

Paul Sorrento

John Moses

Brian Hunter

Ron Davis

John Castino

I don't think Joel Zumaya counts, so I will have to put forward a name that should have already been mentioned many times (many more than Paul Sorrento has been)....a name that has been steeped in TD lore from time in memorium.....

281. Brian Duensing!!!

I had to go back page 1 and re-read all the posts after realizing that I had duplicated a few names already mentioned. Sorry! Anyway, here are a few new ones, or so I think. Carlos Gomez, Pat Neshek, and Kurt Suzuki were All-Stars at least once, so they don't count, but how about:
Doug Bernier

Wilson Ramirez

Clete Thomas
