Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Sano's "misstep" was him realizing that he had no chance. I'm pretty sure he was thinking, "Oh shucks" in Spanish. Oh, mierda I believe are the words you're looking for spinowner 1

ashbury Verified Member Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Gardy looks like he's lost weight.Medical procedures can do that to ya. / I see that I was ninja'd by an observation about weight loss before surgery USAFChief 1
DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 We all talk about Burton's amazing speed, but even though it's not always used properly, maybe, look at the speed this team is developing? Buxton may be the Roadrunner, but Polanco, Rosario and Kepler all run well. Escobar and Adrianza are no slouches. Granite can motor and should be a fixture soon. Gordon runs well. These guys keep learning to hit better, doubles, triples, 1st to 3rd, etc...WOW! ashbury, SwainZag, Dozier's Glorious Hair and 1 other 4
Darius Verified Member Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Even if it's a tie game in the bottom of the 7th and I crank one off the wall and have a shot for a in-the-parker, I'm stopping at first if I'm Buxton. I'd fist pump and jump around like I just won the World Series....then untuck my jersey, turn my hat backwards, and start a slow trot around the warning track for high-fives.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Ok who else thought hildenberger was going to launch that into CF?
NDagri Verified Member Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Ervin wants to stay a Twin.Well, he is impressing me. So Erv must be getting noticed somewhere.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Ok who else thought hildenberger was going to launch that into CF?I was more worried about Polanco's throw to first. ashbury 1

DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Hildenberger....absolutely a keeper! spinowner 1
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Where is Molitor's faith in Hildenberger? Give the kid a few more pitches to get three outs! Danchat 1
spinowner Provisional Member Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 I heard someone calling. Who almost screwed that up?
DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Anyone worried about Castro going on the DL there for a moment? Lol
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 I heard someone calling. Who almost screwed that up?No, Who's on first. ashbury and spinowner 2

mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Hit's like those plus good defense is why I think Mauer still has a pretty decent chance at the Hall of Fame. I figure it's gonna take 2500 hits or more but if he plays 4 more years he will be right there. ashbury 1
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Joe's 6th multi-hit game in his last 7. mikecgrimes 1
DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Kind of crazy how Jay, Burdi, Jones, Melotakis and even Reed and Chargois all have the injury bug slow them and Hildenberger...a former what, 30 something pick...stays healthy and climbs the ladder to be such a good looking young BP arm. Ahh...baseball. spinowner, ashbury, Danchat and 1 other 4
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 I complain enough about Molitor, in fairness I should mention when I think he did the right thing. And not letting a LH hitter tie the game off Hildenberger was the right thing. Danchat, ashbury and spinowner 3
