Should'a sent Dozier on Mauer's hit.

Not with 0 outs. You'd have to expect that one of these knuckleheads could put a ball in play with the bases loaded

No, I send a decent runner on a ground ball to left pretty much any time.

Miguel needs to get himself fixed and fast. He's killing us with unproductive outs. We all love the homers but sheesh.

Just seeing play by play on mlb.    What happened on Sano's error?  Was it a double play ball?   Next guy made an out so kind of harsh that the runs were earned.    Error that leads to 2 runs and then striking out with no one out and bases loaded.    Hope Sano redeems himself later.

Just seeing play by play on mlb.    What happened on Sano's error?  Was it a double play ball?   Next guy made an out so kind of harsh that the runs were earned.    Error that leads to 2 runs and then striking out with no one out and bases loaded.    Hope Sano redeems himself later.

It was a slow roller off the end of the bat with lots of sidespin.  Sano tried to barehand it, and didn't.  I don't think he had to barehand it, he got to it fairly quickly and Ramirez didn't get out of the box quickly.

Watching Gibson pitch is something akin to what I imagine dental work was like before the invention of novocaine.

 

Edit:  who am I kidding?  I'm old enough not to have to imagine.

Nothing against Kyle, I'm sure he's a nice guy, but I will not be renewing my MLB tv account if he's on this team next year

Also, I thought the game was at 1:10, not 12:10. I can never remember if the time was CT or ET!

Castro set up 6 feet in front of the plate. Even with a perfect throw, the runner would score. The thrown ball travels faster that any catch and sweep. Giving the runner a path to the base doesn't mean you have to be in front of the plate. You can be just behind it as well, and in position to see where you need to tag him. Other team's catchers are figuring it out. I thought Castro was supposed to be one of the best defensive catchers. Time to adjust! Make that PAST time to adjust.
