PDX Twin Verified Member Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 and now Mauer will either look to draw a walk. Hit a soft sac liner to left or and more than likely GIDP Or maybe a 2-run single... spinowner and Dozier's Glorious Hair 2

mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 Why can he not lay off that pitch? They do it every single f-in time Probably because he's never gonna be a .450 hitter with 70 homeruns
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 futre twins hall of famer yes. Baseball HOF no way He needs about 575 more hits but his play at first is great, I could easily see him playing another 4 or 5 years
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 Probably because he's never gonna be a .450 hitter with 70 homerunsIs that what I insinuated I expect from him? The dude has struck out three times tonight on the same exact pitch. adorduan and Puckett34 2
twinssouth Provisional Member Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 Way to go Dozier, Kep, Mauer, 2 more in the bag

I know but if he was able to do that he would be one of the best players in baseball. Nothing wrong with high expectations but guys are gonna have flaws in their game.
adorduan Verified Member Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 Sano might not ever see a fast ball again.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 So now we get to cheer on the Angels tonight.Interesting that the ChiSox are likely going to win their game with KC tonight after sweeping the Astros. Goes to show you that even a dismantled team such as the Sox are can always surprise you. And hoping that Boston can finish off the Yankees tonight, too.

I'm all for a fair bash of any player if it's based on something, but in baseball predicting a batter will make an out with tired old shots that don't really apply this year get old. You could have said the same thing about Ted Williams in his prime and be right the vast majority of the time. Puckett34 and spinowner 2

Darius Verified Member Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 The way this lineup is going right now is so fun to watch. Rosario, Kepler, Mauer, Polanco, and Dozier are all scorching hot at the same time. Could maybe even throw Buxton in there. We're running the bases fairly aggressively and well. Defense is very good. Bullpen has been lights out. The starters are keeping them in games. Can't really ask for more than what they're doing right now. Dozier's Glorious Hair 1
