PDX Twin Verified Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Our defense has been embarrassing as hell this last week. Must be so bad that it killed the MLB.TV feed. h2oface and Riverbrian 2
70charger Verified Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 (edited) I'd contribute something, but mlb.tv is so buggy right now it's literally unwatchable. I have no idea what's going on in the game. Did we win? Did someone bean Ryan Braun in his awful little face? Edited August 8, 2017 by 70charger Riverbrian 1
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 MLB.TV is reliable for me about 99% of the time, but not tonight.

Did we win? Did someone bean Ryan Braun in his awful little face?Polanco error. Hit to center scoring a run. Buxton error on the play allowing a second run to score. 70charger 1

D.C Twins Verified Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Are we sure that the Twin’s line up today is any better than the Red Wing’s line up…. I’m serious… PDX Twin 1
Danchat Verified Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Gotta love how our two best OBP guys fail to get on base with runners on there. *sigh* At least Polanco is starting to collect to hits.
S. Verified Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Good lord, are they even trying? That throw from Dozier was 15 feet away from home plate, from the edge of the outfield grass. Danchat 1
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 1-2-3 is a pretty depressing line score.
70charger Verified Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Well the mlb.tv feed is back on. So I got to see that... h2oface 1
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 (edited) This is the Santana I saw at Angel Stadium in the 7-3 loss (the Pujols 600 homer game) and against the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. He is just soooooo inconsistent. I still can't believe he had such a good start of the season. You take up to May 7 away....... At least he still has some good outings too. h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Polanco!!!!Shock and awe...........
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Dozier is adjusting his junk about as much as Nolasco did, now.

Puckett34 Verified Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 C'mon Dozier. Get a clutch hitNope. I have no idea what GOAT is here.....Greatest Of All Time. GOAT h2oface 1
S. Verified Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Hey, Nolasco is the GOAT frequent junk adjuster.Papelbon will fight you over that claim. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CxcxO9GJfkU/VBY6uw0cZhI/AAAAAAAAXto/y73aRtENvYA/s1600/MMBSPORTSNEWS%2Bcopy.jpg
Taildragger8791 Verified Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 1) Why can't anybody on this team hit a cutoff man?2) Dozier isn't quieting any criticism regarding his hitting with RISP tonight. h2oface 1
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Papelbon will fight you over that claim. One high profile and beat into the ground grab, does not make him the GOAT. Frequency...... Nolasco was the annoying master. Puckett34 1
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 C'mon Dozier. Get a clutch hitIt can be looked up. This year in 51 PA with runners in scoring position and two out, he's batting .342 with power for a 1.141 OPS. But don't let that get in the way of a good rant. Nolasco was the annoying master. No one ever said logic and reasoning were required for Papelbon to want to pick a fight, as evidenced by him attempting to choke out Harper in their dugout.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 A story about Josh Hader: A few years back when the Astros wanted to acquire Trevor Plouffe someone asked me who I would personally want in return. Josh Hader was the prospect who I liked the most in the Astros farm system, so I promptly named him. Disappointing to see him in a Brewers uniform tonight....

That really is amazing because he seems to fail every time in those situations. But I think that about everyone ashbury 1
