Strikeout with the bases loaded and less than 2 outs - check.

Squander bases loaded with less than 2 outs scoring no runs... check

Here in Tucson, a  psychiatrist and a proctologist opened a new clinic together near our house.

I'm interested to see if Colon will bounce back in the 5th inning. If he falters again, I think his time as a starter here is up.

I had to go to the VA hospital for a gastroscopy today.

As usual, the VA was busy...there were three other guys in the waiting room.

 

The doctor came through and explained what would happening to the four of us. He said that I was having the gastroscopy, which is the camera down the throat and the other three were there for a colonoscopy, which is the camera...from the other direction. He then asked if any of us had any questions.

 

I said: "Yes. Can I go first?"

Rosario has been taking a lot of walks recently. His plate discipline has been improving a ton this season, so I have a hard time saying his performance is fluky.

It seems like it, but going into today, Eddie had 19 walks on the year.

I can't wait for this Colon fiasco to end.  Give the starts to somebody, anybody that might be here next year.

 

Decisions like adding a wasteland no future pitcher to lose games when we need them the most....... such disrespect to the fans......

Colon has been good for his first 50 or 60 pitches in all of his starts, I wish that the Twins could persuade him to stay on as a long reliever,
