notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 HAHAHaha, I just heard a fan yell, "Castro! You gotta frame those pitches better, you know!"
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Mr. Belisle... And possibly Mr. Wimmers.
Darius Verified Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 That is the truth. Can't throw the same dudes every game. Then you need more "dudes." Pretty sure they're paying a few people a lot of money to manage dudes.
Roaddog Verified Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 A former manager would of said it's because he battles his tail off. That's the problem with the bullpen. Oh and a lack of talent
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 I wonder what causes these meltdowns? My 3 year old niece has them too
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Then you need more "dudes." Pretty sure they're paying a few people a lot of money to manage dudes. But that wouldn't fall on PM
twins_89 Verified Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 That is the truth. Can't throw the same dudes every game. Sadly true, unfortunately the Twins only have 3 guys I have any level of trust to put out there in the 7th, 8th, or 9th of a close game.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2017 Author Posted June 11, 2017 I think I've seen enough of Wimmers too... They may have to start scraping the bottom of the barrel to find competent relievers.
Carneal&Gordon Verified Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Buddy had 9 pitches in his inning of relief, Why not trot him out there for another go? 9 pitches.
drjim Provisional Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Buddy had 9 pitches in his inning of relief, Why not trot him out there for another go? 9 pitches. He's a marginal lefty that was about to face a bunch of rhp at the top of the order.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 I'm not sure I've seen a strike on gameday where the one is that buxton just swung at
drjim Provisional Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Maybe Belisle dfa, Pressly back. Feel the excitement.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Probably didn't want to use Duffey and Rogers and Kintzler probably were being saved for 8th and 9th.I get the angst, but not like Molitor has many options here.Rogers didn't pitch Friday or Saturday. Molitor had the option of not letting Belisle turn a 1 run lead into a 3 run deficit before he decided to get off his *** and remove him. He clearly was in trouble from the first hitter.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 I think I've seen enough of Wimmers too... They may have to start scraping the bottom of the barrel to find competent relievers. Wimmers was the bottom of the barrel. Busenitz, Hildenberger, Curtiss, and Melotakis are the actual prospects who should be getting a chance right now.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Stinks to lose games you lead in when you actually ar competing. Forgot what that was like
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 I'm not sure I've seen a strike on gameday where the one is that buxton just swung at New strategy....... swing at obvious horrible pitches that were balls coming out of the hand that even the catcher won't be able to catch, and try to beat the throw to first.

Maybe remove him earlier, but Wimmers was the next option. I'm not sure that's an upgrade.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Bert has given up as he is now just bitching about his chair.

Still think Pressly gets another chance first.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2017 Author Posted June 11, 2017 Maybe Belisle dfa, Pressly back.Feel the excitement.Meh. Not sure if I want to see Pressly back so soon. I'd rather him stay down another month or 2. Unless something has clicked over the last 2 weeks it will be the same results we saw before.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 I like the post about "sore shoulder" DL stint for Belisle. . Something is clearly wrong. He can't suck this hard, can he? Yes

He can't suck this hard, can he?He most certainly can suck this hard. He wasn't getting results on his stuff.... IIRC, he was a guy who got by nibbling the corners of the strike zone and getting ground balls.

He can't suck this hard, can he?He's been bad all year. I think someone in the Twins brain trust thought Belisle would get his act together. They were wrong.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Strickland can bring it... He throws at batters quite well. What a man.

Why in heaven's name do you just let him blow a game like that? There is no defending Molitor here. Much like when he had two fresh arms brought up SPECIFICALLY because he had a spent pen, and then let the spent pen **** away a 6 run lead. He doesn't have good options, agreed. That's not his fault, but it makes it even more critical he uses what he has wisely. Today was not wise.
