Maybe that explains why Rosario missed the catch on Monday....

And why Rosario is drawing walks and having long pro at bats and Grossman is striking out badly.

Castro's career CS % is 27%. Suzuki's is 24%. Keep in mind, Suzuki is older. Point being, Castro's might be lower when he is two years older than he is now.

I often like to point out that a catcher's CS% also includes pitcher pickoff caught stealings. Suzuki has been credited with 209 CS in his career but he's actually only thrown out 126 of those. 106 of Castro's 119 credited CS are throws by Castro himself. Adjusting for this, Castro's career throw-out% is 24.6% and Suzuki's is 16.2%.

Yeah, Castro is much better at shutting down the running game. I believe Suzuki would still be with the Twins if he was better at controlling the running game.

Why would they post the stats that way?

Not saying you are wrong. I certainly did not know that. It just seems like a dumb way to calculate/report the stat.

And who was Suzuki catching that picked offso many guys?

I see the Twins are trying to pull a Houston.

Let's hope it works out.

Never mind.

Foregone conclusion now that Duffey starts the 7thI think.

Best Molly can do is a Pressly.  Can the Twins be done with Pressly now?

Well then. That went downhill quickly. Is there an out yet?

No, but they're bringing on their third pitcher already.

Two of the three relievers that pitched the 8th Monday are among the first guys into this game.  Does Paul even realize that he's got other guys out there?
