they're talking about Monday's win probability on the Astros broadcast. everyone looks at the 8th, but the real turning point was the 6th where Santana got the first two outs and then loaded the bases before finally getting out of it. his pitch count ballooned though and basically shut down any shot of him pitching into the 8th.

it has been updated.....but what if the runner behind him passes him, what fielder gets the put out?

Similar to a runner hit by a batted ball, closest one to the play I believe.  That's a good question though.

We had a bunt attempt in the 4th inning!!!!  Obviously Molly is intensely coaching this team still.

Aiming for a piranha-based rivalry with a new team.

I feel like we are starting to see more called 3rd strikes on Mr. Grossman....that became a real problem last year.

And Zuke couldn't throw me out trying to steal...or frame a pitch...i'm not happy with the offensive production, but compared to league wide, I will take the fielding over the hitting. Fielding has been one of the biggest reasons people are saying we are winning more this year....

I don't need catcher #2 though, to be even more of a dumpster fire with the bat...who sometimes plays first base (this one baffles me). Bring up Mitch already.

Castro's career CS % is 27%. Suzuki's is 24%. Keep in mind, Suzuki is older. Point being, Castro's might be lower when he is two years older than he is now.

And I think we can stop talking about the influence Castro is having on the pitching staff. They all look about the same to me except Santana, who did just fine without Castro last year and Berrios - which could very easily be simple maturation due to age and experience.

Santiago isn't better. Gibson isn't. Belisle isn't. Pressly isn't. Breslow isn't. Kintzler isn't. Rogers maybe a tiny bit. Duffey, ok. But how much of that is Castro and how much is his different role?

Wow, I am shocked that Zuke is that high...imagine that it was not that high with the Twins, which is my point...and if Castro is starting most all games for us by the end of his contract, the Twins, and the catching position is in trouble.

Also not sure anyone said Castro is a better game caller that Kurt, at least on this thread.

8k's in 4 innings...not bad for the kid (yes lots of pitches).  I have not been able to watch (MLB game cast only), but does his stuff look pretty dynamic for those of you that can watch?

I see that the old score a run give it right back routine has returned.  I don't like i.

It's better than score a run, give 11 right back. Glass 1/10th full, my friend, 1/10th full...
