Am I missing something? The Twins called up TWO fresh pitchers. There is now a SIX run lead. But Pressly is warming up?

 

If Paul isn't going to use them, why bring them up?

I hate to say it but I just did it. 

 

I hung on to him all year but I just dropped Byron Buxton from my fantasy team. Logan Morrison was available... I have Belt but he is OF Eligible so he can replace Buxton in the OF... So I did it. 

 

I kept waiting for Buxton to rise and Morrison to regress. Morrison looked locked in this weekend. 

 

 

I pushed the button... it's a done deal... no looking back now. 

If your luck is like mine, he will immediately start to rake.

 

So on behalf of Twins fans everywhere, thank you for taking one for the team.

Given the 10 day DL list I sure hope day to day means one of two things, he plays or goes to the DL tomorrow.  I don't want to throw his defense away for potentially 7 or 8 extra games but time away wouldn't be the worst for him.

Who cares if he goes 0-3. Astros have pop and as we saw last inning the OF defense is very important. The step down from Byron to either Grossman or Ehire is huge!! And the difference from Ehire and Byron's bat is not very different at all. Stupid move, unless it was done medically.

I would have given one of the new guys a shot with a 6 run lead. A chance to rest the entire pen. 

 

Molitor probably talked with everyone in the pen and asked them how they felt. Pressly probably sounded ready and willing in his response.

Six run lead. S I X. 1,2,3,4,5,6 run lead. If you can't get 3 outs, or even 6, without giving up 6 runs, you shouldn't be on the roster.

 

Yeah, bringing in Pressly sure has worked out well.
