Tillman is averaging 11 pitches per out.  At this rate, the Orioles will need to throw 297 pitches to complete today's game.

Hometown crowd (and O's) upset that the ump didn't appeal that check swing strike.

Definitely borderline...

If I were them I would've been po'd too...should have appealed, way to close for home plate ump to call.

To be fair, the previous batter should have been out on a called third strike that went for a ball, so it sort of evens out.

You cannot stop Kennys Buxton, you can only hope to contain him...which Mancini seems to be having issues with.

Almost done with Rosario!  They were trying to walk him and he wouldn't let them.  I'm about willing to put up with Grossman's defense a in LF and recall Granite for defense.

That would be a reason, fair enough.  Let me rephrase; any GOOD reason Mauer wasn't pinch-hitting there?
