I'm just wondering how Mauer hurt the team tonight? His line doesn't look too bad. Granted I wouldn't bat him that high up in the order, but that's not on him, but without his glove at first, that would hurt the team more, imo. <shrug> To each his/her own.

Okay, to recap a bit of the baseball weirdness this year: Joe Mauer hits a walk-off home run bottom of the ninth, two strikes.

 

The Twins are down 5-0 to the Orioles, a team that bedeviled them the last year and eke out a 14-7 win. 

 

Utter madness and baseball at its finest.
