Yeah, it's a pretty good pitcher to bring into a game with this big a lead, but they worked too hard to get back into this thing.

No you appear to be a Viking fan. The Twins have had some bad seasons, and every once in a while over the years have blown bigger leads, but they don't let you down in a regular season game with a big lead often.

I've seen the Twins blow enough leads over the years or take a close game late an absolute blowout.

Oh, my, my....  I've been having a fun time peeking at that O's blog-  a lot of stuff they've said about Ubaldo sounds vaguely familiar. But somebody posted this during the 6-run inning, with caption:

Indians rotation is 3rd in the AL in FIP and WAR.  Tied for 1st in K/9, 5th in BB/9.  

 

But they have the 2nd worst LOB%, and they have the 2nd highest BABIP (which contributes to the worst  AL ERA), so they apparently have the worst rotation...

Going into today, Twins wRC+ at home was 103, Twins wRC+ on the road was 97.  Were our announcers just saying we hit better on the road?  Cause no...not by wRC+ or standard BA/OBP/SLG%
