Uhh, I think the stadium is in a really really bad part of town. To the point full house or not, you're gonna hear sirens.

Its close to bad part, but it's actually in a good part.  Been there for many games, still my favorite park ever.

Going into today, Twins wRC+ at home was 103, Twins wRC+ on the road was 97.  Were our announcers just saying we hit better on the road??

 

They might have meant "WIN" better on the road.

With Gibsons first pitch of the game being ball one, I figured this would be a long night.  It has been, in a good way.  Gotta give Gibson some credit for hanging in there.  And excellent relief by Duffey.  Thank goodness for Lauren Dusky in between.

I thought I heard on the radio today that the Twins bullpen over the last couple weeks has the best ERA. Anyone able to confirm?

 

According to Fangraphs, yes, best over the last 14 days, 1.82.

I've been there several times. Also once to see Vikings/ravens in 98 when Gary Anderson kicked 6 field goals and there were 3 kick returns for TDs

Last time I was relaxed on the road. A cop came by and suggested that I should relax in the ditch instead.

Mauer wRC+ above 100 now!

 

I know Mauer has gotten a lot of criticism, and much of it deserved, but his May has been a lot better than his April (which I guess there was no way to go than up).  His numbers have been ticking upwards.

I believe that was Bremer once again. First, looking at the team ERA for Cleveland and saying they have "the worst rotation", then glancing at the road record and home record and asking Morris something about the team hitting better on the road because they're relaxed. Morris basically suggested maybe it had something to do with facing pitchers who were performaing poorly. Like Ubaldo tonight.

What happened to that Buxton that was hot? I liked that Buxton a lot. This game is not over.

I'm not sure at what point in the game you said this ... but ... it was truly an understatement!
