Game Thread: Twins vs. Indians 4-18 @ 7:10 PM CT

A bunt, what a joke that this is what has to happen for the can't miss prospect.

[bighat]

Wow bunting with two on and two out...

Any chance Molitor called for that?

[Aggies7]

Santana pinch hit?

Yeah, johan probably has a better shot of finding a gap.

[twinssporto]

How many more years does Hughes have on his contract?

Can you imagine?  Once Mauer and Hughes are gone the Twins organization could feed entire nations.

I may write a song about it:

Imagine there's no contract dollars

Its easy if you try

No free agency below us

Above us only rookies

Imagine all the players playing for free...

[Aggies7]

Bert none too pleased with BB's bunt

[70charger]

Haley sighting.

[drock2190]

I mean if it was a tough pitcher, maybe you bunt...

BUT Josh Tomlin???!

I give up

[Vanimal46]

Was that a called bunt, or Buxton's decision?

You ain't kiddin. Wish they'd pull a nishioka and void their own contract

It's not like Tomlin gave him a tough time in the first AB either.

That was bewildering.

Be wildered. Be very wildered.

[a-wan]

Yeah, johan probably has a better shot of finding a gap.

He also batted lefty too.

And Blyleven not liking a Buxton bunt after all the, "He needs to learn to bunt and do it more" tangents? HA!.

[twinssporto]

Nice play by Sano!

[Aggies7]

In berts defense, that was probably the worst conceivable time to bunt.

[Aggies7]

Is there really no one in AAA that could take breslows spot? Nothing against the guy, but cmon.

[USAFChief]

That's just about the worst play in baseball.  2 on 2 out, tieing run at the plate, and you try to bunt for a hit.

That's just...awful.

[operation mindcrime]

BUT Josh Tomlin???!

I give up

Me too!

[USAFChief]

Just meet Breslow in the clubhouse, Falvine, and ask for the uniform.  "Thanks, we appreciate it, but we're going another way.  Best of luck, where do we forward the check?"

[twinssporto]

Here comes Haley's Comet

Might be the worst sign we've seen yet.  Now the confidence is shattered too.

"There's a car out front waiting for you"

Right now, he's more like that ship that ran aground in Italy.

That's hilarious!!

Was that a called bunt, or Buxton's decision?

Exactly.

That's not Haley's Comet.  That's Sano's blast to CF in Detroit.

Thanks Breslow.  I think you're gonna be more successful somewhere else.

[Aggies7]

Who called that bunt?
