Platoon Verified Member Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Isn't it Independent Republic of Texas? Which would still be part of the (geologic) North American Plate in any event. There you go again, mixing science and Texas! That never comes out well! spinowner, ashbury, wsnydes and 5 others 8
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I worked with a guy while living in Canada who referred to himself as an America ... a North American. He made a point to tell me just about every day that those from the States aren't the only Americans and it's wrong to call ourselves that.Let him be on a plane where the hijackers say "all the Americans raise their hands," and see how he feels then. / USians being well known for pretending to be Canadian in such situations... wsnydes and twinsnorth49 2

ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I talked to a friend in San Francisco last night and he asked if I was still following the Twins. I said I was and he said why? I said you have that even year thing going and he said it was like a curse that should be broken. I think they're losing their pep out there.
Platoon Verified Member Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I thought science wasn't allowed in Texas. Didn't they put up a wall or something to keep scientist out? They were going to but Oklahoma wouldn't pay for it. Vanimal46, Jerr, spinowner and 3 others 6
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I thought science wasn't allowed in Texas. Didn't they put up a wall or something to keep scientist out? They wanted to.. But then they realized it takes science and math to build a wall too! As a consolation prize, we are disguising all scientists as college football players. That way they can get so concussed all science knowledge will be gone. big dog 1

It'll be pretty impenetrable I figure, lots of locks. You have some work to do. I am pretty sure I was able to canoe on Canadian water on Moose Lake last month (we tend to have about five names for all of our lakes), and security was pretty lax. If there would have been some exotic Canadian product that had a high demand to smuggle back with me - I could have done it easily. Who is paying for this wall? You might want to try billing the city of Roseau. I think Ely would just ignore you. Edited September 12, 2016 by D. Hocking Hosken Bombo Disco 1

whosafraidofluigirussolo Verified Member Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 The Tigers have registered more of their players as trademarks than the Twins have. Seems like a pretty well-constructed lineup for the Twins against a lefty, though.

Even at my age (Heaven forbid if, I would want to come to live in Canada) I know I could take that down with a snowball or two, once I warm up that snow, in order to make said snowball Edited September 12, 2016 by Jerr
Platoon Verified Member Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Since the Saudis decided to implode the crude market ND has tons of idle tunneling equipment. Rumor has it that Pablo Escobar bought some of it, but the rest will work nicely for "The Great Escape" on 11/9. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Pablo joined us? Hmmm maybe he thinks Estevan, SK is a Hispanic community?
