HEY!  Santiago has a 10-4 record this year !!

How, I really don't know......

I can answer this: I've been using him on my Fantasy Team.

When he's good he's really good and when he's bad he's really bad.

Correa is awesome!

That part isn't difficult either. I was disappointed Altuve wasn't playing last night, but Correa wasn't up the last time I saw the Astros. Not all was lost.

All of that is true. He has to prove that he's healthy. I'd rather see Sano at 3B too, but if Plouffe is to traded, he needs to prove that he can play 3B because that's what teams will be dealing for. I'd rather see Sano there too and I'm no fan of Molitor, but I don't have an issue with what he's doing here.

Plouffe doesn't need to prove he can play 3B, he's played thousands of innings there.

He only needs to prove he's healthy, which can be done at 1B.

Not only that, but for the insignificant PTBNL or cash he'll cost, you tell teams buy as is, take it or leave it.

He'll fit right in   ;)

Santiago has 5 games with zero runs given up. 11 games with less then 2 earned. 9 games where he gave up 4 or more.

Talk about Jekyl and Hyde

We'll have agree to disagree. 1B and 3B are not the same. He needs to prove he can play 3B, not because nobody knows what he can, but to tell teams he's healthy enough to do so.

If teams are told to take it or leave it, I'm inclined to think they'll leave it and this team gets nothing. Nothing is worse than a PTBNL or a bundle of cash.

I realize it's cause and effect but I'm more concerned about Vargas getting splinters. Two games in a row on the bench. I also love that Polanco is getting in there but I really don't want Escobar to sit for 3 games straight either.

I'd really like Paul to mix it up and let the players prove themselves or not prove themselves.

Polanco is proving himself, that's why he's playing.

Escobar is exactly the type of player you shouldn't mind sitting on the bench.

And agree on Vargas. Another casualty of this obsession with trying at all costs to get a PTBNL or cash for Plouffe.

Is that the same Sano that has a bad attitude, is lazy, won't practice, weighs in at 400+ pounds, and used to be very athletic?

I believe that he is 410+ pounds by now.

Mickey Mantle talking on his cell phone before they were invented. Now that's a Hall of Fame player.

Do you suppose Mick is hiding an ice pack to help with the hangover?

I can say that Mickey was the best player I ever saw play in person even with a hangover most games.

Sylvester's speech impediment was rather disturbing. :)

I loved those cartoons.

And you wouldn't be maximizing your resources if you insisted on getting every one close to equal playing time.

Bench players should be on the bench, hence the name.

Chapped lips because of it. He should be stock in Chap Stick.

I would have never known that Succotash could actually suffer... if it wasn't for Looney Tunes.

Actually I wouldn't have known about Succotash. Suffrin or not.

Unless you are Eduardo Nunez

Unless you are Eduardo Nunez

Nunez played well and that's why he played.

From the sounds of your strategy, you would have been yanking him in and out of the lineup to give someone else playing time. And then he likely wouldn't have played as well.
