twinssporto Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Rain delay? It's just a passing shower. It came across Lake Minnetonka and was over in 5 min. I came in from fishing to watch this. Maybe I should head back out. It's Muskie opener today!
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Sorry, I switched to watch the ending of 'Silent Rage' and now it's raining like heck out. Do something about that, Chuck.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Since the game switched over to the White Sox and Detroit does that mean the game thread moves with it? I know the level of play really went up...
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 On radar, looks like the rain is moving through pretty fast
twinssporto Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 My apologies. Now its Angels and Pittsburgh. Again, the level of play just went up.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 is there some awesome gate giveaway today? what could possibly explain that many people actually paying to watch this team? They found those free tickets on the sidewalks outside Target field and in the urinals at local gas stations!
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 My apologies. Now its Angels and Pittsburgh. Again, the level of play just went up. We own the Angels.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Here's a thought. I know there are a lot of Twins fans frustrated by Mauer's big contract. Imagine how the Angels fans feel with Pujlos. In a dark spot in life? Remember, someones always got it worse.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 They found those free tickets on the sidewalks outside Target field and in the urinals at local gas stations!Hey! That's plagiarism! I posted that last night. Still makes me laugh out loud!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Rain delay entertainment: Past, present, and future walk into a bar. It was tense.
hybridbear Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 They found those free tickets on the sidewalks outside Target field and in the urinals at local gas stations!I would take free tickets, in fact, I got some at work for the game on Thursday night against the Marlins. Even when the Twins are this awful I don't mind going to a couple games a year with free tickets.
mickeymental Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 pitcher: i hope the rain keeps up. catcher: why? pitcher: so it doesn't come down!

Even when the Twins are this awful I don't mind going to a couple games a year with free tickets.I'll be there too. My sister works for the Marlins. She said she got us some good tickets/seats. She did say it was a little easier this year versus other years...Can't believe she has two World Series rings. If that club can do it occasionally in the last 15 years Twins should too.
Guest Guests Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Can anyone realistically explain why a guy who's hit .210 since last seasons All-Star break is our #3 hitter? I can't figure out why he's even playing, when we have Polanco as an option. "The difficulty is not in creating new ideas, but escaping from the old ones." -John Maynard Keynes
hybridbear Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 They just showed fairly heavy rain at Target Field on TV, but at my house in Edina the sidewalks are dry. I hope the showers will pass soon.
Guest Guests Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Valencia, Pearce and Ortiz - three clean-up hitters given away for nil, nada and nothing, respectively.
