Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 okay ... most definitely operation mindcrime's fault
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Funny, I was about to use that same word to describe my reaction to seeing Ervin's current haircut not hanging out behind his hat.I think his hair got sick of losing and went to hang out with some winners.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 E's looking good today. Until he didn't. auditioning for Twins broadcasting team.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 It's not, well, except, I happen to think your wife is pretty nice and wouldn't like to hear you were cheating on her.Breath-smelling is one of the few activities with others not otherwise ruled out by our marriage vows.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Breath-smelling is one of the few activities with others not otherwise ruled out by our marriage vows.Okay, now that's weird. Yes, I'm passing judgement.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 We've got a no hitter brewing!Run boy! Run! You are on a hit list now.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I think his hair got sick of losing and went to hang out with some winners.Which is better: -or- http://www.twincities.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Twins-Orioles-spring-training015.jpg?w=797 I personally like the latter best.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Which is better: -or- http://www.twincities.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Twins-Orioles-spring-training015.jpg?w=797 I personally like the latter best. Agreed. But it does not change my guess on why it has left.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Okay ... now that's fun to see ... Buxton running.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Agreed. But it does not change my guess on why it has left. Did I read somewhere that baseball players are the most superstitious of athletes?
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Why even make the throw after the bobble when the batter is Buxton?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Why even make the throw after the bobble when the batter is Buxton?Yes, why indeed.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 JINX!I think ChiTown had already jinxed the shutout, opining that the one run might be enough.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Why even make the throw after the bobble when the batter is Buxton?or on base, even
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I think ChiTown had already jinxed the shutout, opining that the one run might be enough. No, I didn't opine that it was ... I hoped that it was.

twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Did I read somewhere that baseball players are the most superstitious of athletes?Hockey goalies, might as well be voodoo priests.
Jerr Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Spin's answer is correct, but it raises the question of how space can be created when matter only changes. The best explanation to that I (who probably knows less about it than Spinowner) am aware of is that space is continuous and has no center. When you think about the structure of an atom, it's somewhat similar on a significantly smaller scale than moon to planet, planet to star, star to galaxy, etc. When you think about these relations, it makes sense that in their orbit the galaxies move away from each other, hence the red shift and expansion. Ok, but take the very, very farthest away atom or molecule (take your pick) where does it go??? This is as hard as figuring which side of the lake the prettiest girls are on.......
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 ssssshhhhhh......... Dozier hit a RBI double to opposite field
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I really want to know why in this day and age it would be an issue. For one thing, it would make me question Buxton's taste.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Dozier doubles to right as he's being trashed. I like it.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 My TV feed must be on the fritz. The batter flicks the bat at the outside pitch and dumps it into right field. But I could have sworn I saw a '2' on the batter's back. I'm calling the cable company.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 New around here?Well, I see GOTG and think 'Guardians of the Galaxy.' And, yes, I'm pretty new here. At least to game threads this year I am.
mudcat14 Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Can anyone realistically explain why a guy who's hit .210 since last seasons All-Star break is our #3 hitter? I can't figure out why he's even playing, when we have Polanco as an option. Dozier is without a doubt, my least favorite Twin.
