twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Yes! At about 75 pitches, nobody on, 1 out. The bullpen then imploded.I don't think he pulled himself from the game is what I'm getting at, the decision was made for him, just like the decision for him to keep starting is.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Great, now we have to face a Vincent
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 NICE! - Santana runs a post pattern and still makes the throw. Great!I think it was the stop and go, followed by the post and ending with the curl route.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Man, this is one well played game!! One for the annals of Twins history.
David HK Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Y'know, things do look a little less dark than usual. Twinks usually don't stop at just giving up the tying run in that situation. Now, let's mash that hipster beard right offa this guy....
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I don't think he pulled himself from the game is what I'm getting at, the decision was made for him, just like the decision for him to keep starting is.I thought the word was that he asked out. If I'm wrong it certainly wouldn't be the 100th time
David HK Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I think it was the stop and go, followed by the post and ending with the curl route. It worked, too, that safety wasn't even in the picture when he made that catch.
David HK Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Gol dang it- how nice is it to be all the way into the 7th, and still be in a battle for the win... Small pleasures, I guess, but pleasures nonetheless.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I....uh.......................left my beer in the freezer.................
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 The Brian Wilson (baseball) beard look has got to go.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is a Seattle Mariners fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they were Mariners fans, too.Not really knowing what a Mariners fan was, but wanting to be like their teacher, hands explode into the air. There is, however, one exception. A girl named Mary has not gone along with the crowd. The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different. "Because I'm not a Mariners fan.""Then," asks the teacher, "what are you?""Why I'm proud to be a Twins fan", boasts the little girl. The teacher is a little perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks Mary why she is a Twins fan."Well, My Dad and Mom are Twins fans, and I'm a Twins fan, too!"The teacher is now angry. "That's no reason," she says loudly. "What if your mom was a moron, and your dad was a moron, What would you be then?"A pause, and a smile. "Then," says Mary, "I'd be a Mariners fan."
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Yay, they have clumsy outfielders too!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Someone apparently sprinkled the outfield grass with KY this eve
David HK Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Oh, I almost forgot! Stopped at the local brew house, and filled up the growler. It's taken so long for the craft-brew thing to catch up here in HK, but like every other popular thing, once it gets going, it just explodes- now there's a ton of places, whereas a year ago, there were maybe 2. Edit-- Just in time for a run-scoring toast!
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Seeing eye single and the lead again! Great AB for Sano!!
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 If only he wasn't so fat and worked harder.
glunn Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I just caught up with tonight's thread and the game -- both have been entertaining.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Bocaton with a seeing eye hit! They all even out, big fella
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I....uh.......................left my beer in the freezer................. That's the worst, man
David HK Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 If only he wasn't so fat and worked harder.Hey! That was the same post I made about Hrbek, in the daze before the interwebs- I think I still have that tablet around someplace...
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Why no marney? This is getting to be an outrage
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Boshers? Reminds me too much of BOOF

glunn Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I think that the Twins should move to the west coast. They could get a better owner and the home games would start at a more convenient time.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 So, in his first appearance as a Twin, Buddy Boshers has to hold a one run lead in the 7th inning... Yikes. That's all I can say.
