Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 It's good that we consistently have a top ten rated farm system year in and year out. It's done us so much good. The nationals are very similar expect their plan apparently works.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 And I'll bet that story has been repeated by the guys you bowled with many times over the years. Who cares about good? Memorable is where it's at. Exactly... That's the Good Stuff in life. Some people would have wanted to crawl in a hole after a 64. Those are the moments that are retold. It's the good stuff in life.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 JR Murphy will see his average slip to his birth weight very soon. What a joke this team is.

I about died laughing when I read that.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Interesting... I just realized Mauer and Harper are on the bench today.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Interesting... I just realized Mauer and Harper are on the bench today. (High Five) I just realized that people are bowling two handed these days. Both of us are progressing nicely.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I have the house almost completely to myself ... what should I listen to? Twins game is off limits. I'm not listening to the crap they've been putting out lately ... if they want to hit the charts, they better start performing some of their bestsellers from a decade or more ago. I have the Ramones on right now. I'd turn on Nirvana, but my sisters stalk me on Spotify, and the sound quality on YouTube is terrible. As much as I appreciate the Ramones, they're too cheerful. I prefer Kurt Cobain's cynical morbidity.
sane17 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 It would be interesting to see the Twins pitchers, against the Twins batters. Would our SO rate go up, or go down? How can you "pitch to contact" against hitters who can't make contact?

CampQ Verified Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I am attending this game and I was at yesterday's and I will say that Nats fans don't know how to put their butts in a seat and stay put. The constant going in and out of the seats irks me.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I actually flipped over to the Caps/Flyers during the commercial break and I missed Buxton's Double Nothing exciting happened in the hockey game so I clearly made a bad choice in that circumstance.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Thanks, but I'm a vet who has been forced to change monikers a few times. That's because you failed with the other monikers. I'm going to pretend this is your first post and you are off to a great start.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Well, I was hoping for more than one this inning, but I'll take one over none.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I've had Purple Rain ear worm the last two nights. That song has such interesting pacing. You gotta sing the opening lines of the verses real fast... "I never meant to cause you any sorrow" (pause) (Keep Pausing) (OK GO fast now)"I never meant to cause you any pain" (Pause) Keep Pausing) (Go fast again)"I only wanted to one time see you laughing" (Pause again) (Now real slow) " I... ONLY... WANT... to... see.. you... laughing... in... the... pur...ple... rain. And that's how a song stands out in comparison to all the other songs

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Nice Catch by Buxton... Thank Goodness I wasn't watching the Flyers/Caps.
