Im not constantly whining. In fact, I believe I can be awfully humorous on here. But aside from making the thread unpleasant for you, does my complaining or complimenting really matter to anything? Nope, it's just the venting of a frustrated fan. Yelling at my iPad alone in my living room just makes me look nutty.

Anyway, no, Bakersfield is not close to the desert, it is in the desert. However, less than an hour from here, there are areas that can get enough snow to close roads for the winter.

Well, my chores await ... I need to completely reorganize my kitchen now that I have a couple more cupboards to work with. And I need to wash a boatload of fine crystal to go in the new display cabinets.

 

I added those two sets of cabinets on the sides of the pass through and redid all the lighting. For a tiny condo kitchen, I like the outcome.

Everybody is different... I get that... But the Game Thread spirit has maintained itself pretty well for a few years now.

 

Not all Game Threads are pure gold but the numbers suggest that more people check into the game thread then almost all the other threads combined. 

 

We've tried really hard to keep this a fun zone and not a "Let's moan about things" Zone and we feel it's why some people are more comfortable here and it could be why the views are much higher. 

 

You're welcome to stay and have fun and you do have some great contributions... but if the discussion starts getting too heavy... don't be surprised if a moderator steps in.

That's not to say there isn't some yelling and cursing going on ... that's usually been my major contribution when I'm not too busy to join in ...
