I've been to Chicago.. I seem to recall there being a lot of people. I wound up walking around on the top of a hotel roof during that trip. Yes, alcohol was involved.

Yeah, and it's my sole day off and I'm inside, away from the masses, which is going to get really bad this week because of the NFL draft happening a 1/2 mile from my home. If there's anything worse than a lot of people, it's a lot of out of town tourist people.

That's not to say there isn't some yelling and cursing going on ... that's usually been my major contribution when I'm not too busy to join in ...

ChiTown has some sailor in her.

And I earned that honestly from driving through Chicago traffic ... Heh.

Nah, just the occasional rattlesnake, coyote and exploding meth lab.

Oh, and btw, we have coyotes, too. Yes, IN the city. Notices get posted from time to time about being careful walking small dogs in the early mornings.

Pfft, easy to correct, get bigger dogs, like a Great Pyrenees. The Great Pyr eats coyotes for lunch.

0 warning points...so far ;)

Btw, where are you at? What do you do when you aren't Twins-talking?

I'm in ChiTown, I'm a musician, when I'm not working and Twins-talking, I'm working on home decor projects, playing tennis and shoe shopping.

Right, get one of those beautiful animals, and force him to live in a condo. No.

Sano is looking versatile. Right field, third base. What's next? Short? (Sano at short would be awesome)

Hmmm.  Do you like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain? :-)

My factory installed Garmin in my Dodge Dart doesn't have an avoid tolls feature. So... I trudged my way through the city... Time after Time. (Yeah I know... Should have gotten that I-Pass Thing).

Anyway... When I drove my wife's Pacifica because I had more room to bring some stuff back from Grand Rapids. I had to use her Tom-Tom and that had an avoid Toll Feature and...

Wow was that slick... No Traffic Jams... No Tolls and it only cost me like a half hour in my estimation.

You got a big window to look out and Piano Keys to slobber on.

I think it would work real well.

Yeah, but with an iPass thingie, you would've saved yourself 2 hours.

I'm in PA...and the old term would be that I'm a "groundskeeper", but we prefer "sports turf manager" ;) worked about 8 years in the Yankees minor league system and now I'm in charge at a university.

I think it's time to visit the Museum of Science and Industry again. Been too many years.

I'm hoping the Lucas Museum gets built. Not sure why there is opposition to it. That would be a freaking awesome addition to my neighborhood.

Well, my chores await ... I need to completely reorganize my kitchen now that I have a couple more cupboards to work with. And I need to wash a boatload of fine crystal to go in the new display cabinets.attachicon.gifimage.jpeg

I added those two sets of cabinets on the sides of the pass through and redid all the lighting. For a tiny condo kitchen, I like the outcome.

I like the secret door.

Well, I don't really drive all that much ... don't need to. But traffic is a pita in the summer in my neighborhood when some big event in Grant Park ...

Well, **** ... those catches take some steam out of it.

In honor of National Recycled Jokes Day...

A leather-wearing, tat-sporting biker walks into a bar carrying jumper cables. "Get me a bottle of Jack!" he barks. Bartender tells him, "Hey, I'll get it for ya, but don't be startin' anything."

Seriously? Lucas? You do know the Brits have a running joke about Lucas Electrics, right? Everyone who owns or has owned a British car has not so fond memories of their electrical systems. Of course, it is Chicago, so, I suppose anything is possible.
