Thanks for the explanation of "the big difference between potentially a big impact player and a prospect". I guess a five-tool 16-yr-old would be the stereotypical 'PROSPECT".

With all the Twins Daily awards and the unreal numbers from last season, Hildenberger was the still the SIXTH-RATED TWINS RHRP prospect in BA's Prospect Handbook behind Burdi, Meyer, Chargois, Reed and Landa. That is UN-BLEEPING-SUNG in my estimation. If you aren't a high draft choice or a tool-box, you get no respect. Just like Matt Duffy, Jose Altuve and Rodney Dangerfield!

Trevor Hildenberger AA STATS 2-2 W-L; 0.89 ERA; 30.1 IP; 5BB; 33K; 0.69 WHIP Get him to AAA ASAP!

Why was catcher John Hicks shipped out early this season? JR Murphy was a bust, Suzuki was struggling and Hicks' slash line is now .311 .352 .521 .873 in the minors this year. Was it a personality problem?

I wonder if Trevor Hildenberger is ready to be a MLB ROOGY?

Yes. On Monday, Alex decided to SINK, rather than SWIM.

People poking holes doesn't "PROVE" anything! Everyone has opinions (as well as certain anatomical parts), but those opinions are not to be confused with proof.

You're right. Alex Swim retired on Monday.

If you are drafted in the 32nd round, are you still a prospect?
  31. sane17
That statement shows a definite lack of POSITIVITY!!!
  32. sane17
Maybe the umpire thought he had a better idea of the strike zone than a catcher whose batting slash line is .083/.132/.111/.243. If Murphy's OPS is .243, he has no credibility on strike zone size or location. In fact, Murphy's strike zone must include both batter's boxes.

"Trevor Hildenberger assigned to Chattanooga Lookouts from Fort Myers Miracle" Gotta love those fast-rising non-prospects.
