You can see the challenge for Miguel Sano in right field. Every batter that hits the ball down the line will be looking to take second base on Sano. Every base runnier will be looking to advance on him. Sano has got to gun a few guys down before they stop taking liberties.

Either hit the ball over the fence and beyond the reach of any leaping outfielders, or complete a circuit of the bases before being tagged out on his batted ball.

Right now my sentiment is stop some f'n runs Gibson.

Not looking to start something here, but if I'm understanding your first 4 points correctly, you have no problem with cheating so long as it's done in the pursuit of a dream with sizable financial upside.  So for example, you are all good with someone who's dream is to be President stuffing the ballot box in order to ensure election.

I thought he was saying he understood why a young, dumb person would fall for that temptation. I didn't notice so much as a hint that it was okay.

 

Steroids are banned to protect the players who use them as much as protect the players who don't use them.
