A Twins win tonight means God has blessed the return of Ron Gardenhire.

I have heard the Sisters of Battle your Tales Off have been really worked  their rosaries like crazy to make this happen.  Coincidentally the Mother Superiorsie is Punto's aunt.

Wow- the Wild fight for a comeback win, the Cubs down the Cards, the White Sox lose, the Red Sox lose on Patriots Day, how can so many good things happen on one day?

Now, if they don't call this one, do you think Molly will send Phil back out to the mound?

I'm guessing the rain isn't going to let up any time soon.  At what point do they call the game?  It's past 5 innings so it should be an official game and not have to be completed.  Probably going to wait as long as possible to see if it stops but don't get your hopes up.

It seems like MLB has gotten very unreasonable in calling games the last 5-7 years. It used to be common to have 2-3 rain shortened games a year, IIRC. Now you rarely have one.

I'd like to see the bullpen close it out and earn the win outright, but I wouldn't be OVERLY upset if they called it. Would ironically work out in our favor after last night.

Buxton - 10.75 seconds home to third on his RBI triple.  Fastest triple this season, and 2nd to Kiermaier in the last 2 years.  Kiermaier has the Statcast record.  I'm sure there are stop watch records out there.

FTW on USA Today has Neon Deion Sanders at around 10.5 and Hamilton as fast as 10.13.  Those two were from the left side though.  But I bet Buxton can break 10.5 this season.

Hopefully he can get another hit to try to break that timing mark.
