Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 My sister is a Red Sox fan and she has commented many times at how long those games are when the Red Sox and Yankees play. You still talk to her? Obviously she isn't invited to Thanksgiving anymore. glunn 1

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I think I'd rather see O'Rourke here, Mollie.Well now you're not the 1 million IQ manager now, are you? Riverbrian 1
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 Twins have 15 hits and it is only the bottom of 6!!!!I may have to listen to the end in bed,as Ihave an early start tomorrow. I know... I was up at 5AM this morning to drive my Boys to the Kalamazoo Airport. That's like Midnight to Chief. And to think... I was actually happy that it was an Eastern Time Zone Start so I get to bed early and catch up on those ZZZZ's i've been owed. Jerr, glunn and Gibby 3

DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 This bullpen management by both teams is....perplexing. Riverbrian 1
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 (edited) Your horses are running loose. May want to grip them a little tighter. Ha! But seriously, at what point do we learn that Duensing is not an asset in a bullpen anymore? A veteran like Beltran vs Duensing? Give me Beltran 6 out of 10 times to mash it Edited August 18, 2015 by DaveW Riverbrian 1
savvyspy Provisional Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 This team's starting pitching is like watching deer cross the interstate at night. Hosken Bombo Disco, Riverbrian and glunn 3
ShouldaCouldaWoulda Verified Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Not sure how much this has been discussed on here lately, but Nunez has really impressed me with his defense this year, especially going to his right and getting rid of the ball. The stats back this up. He also is hitting RHP's well. Makes a good platoon split with Escobar, as he has hit LHP's well, but not RHP's. DiscGolfer 1

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I think McCann has thown out more runners tonight than Suzuki has thrown out all year. I'm only half kidding. howeda7, Aggies7, big dog and 2 others 5
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Stealing...on a 2-0 count to one of your hottest hitters...after being caught the two previous attempts. This team blows.

Puckett34 Verified Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Maybe...maybe don't run on a catcher that has already thrown out 2 base runners with a pitcher that throws 98. glunn and Hosken Bombo Disco 2

I've been concerned about the bullpen for quite some time and I'm shocked that Terry Ryan didn't address it. If I was Molitor I wouldn't be comfortable with any option at this point. But in the end...It's baseball. Sometimes 7 to 5 leads in the 6th don't hold. glunn 1
