D. Hocking Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Cripes! That looked like a play that could have Joe out for 2 years. There are a lot of potential Mauer jokes here - but since I am a Mauer apologist, I will not make any of them.

70charger Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 And they pinch hit for Milone.Makes sense of course, but now other pitchers have to own Mil, besides Milone... Yeah, not huge on this. If the guy's shutting 'em down, why not keep going with him? How many pitches was he at anyway?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 I love it. Oakland DFA's Fuld Twins pick him up and trade him back to the A's and we get Milone out of the deal.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Me too. I actually felt kind of assholish for saying that. I'm sorry Jim, if you read here.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2015 Author Posted June 28, 2015 Okay, I was going to drop in a scene from Hitchcock's The Birds but that film still creeps me out too much.I never got how that movie was scary.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Bullpen still needs help. Badly.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Escobar was entertaining the Twins Fans along the LF line yesterday. He took a bow in response to them yelling Eddie after his homerun. If someone yelled his name... He'd turn around and salute them. It was a good thing he was doing that before pitches were thrown It was a fun side if him that I hadn't seen before.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 And that's why it's important to have a bullpen that can miss bats. Odds are that something will fall in for a hit sooner or later.
zchrz Provisional Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Ugh Boyer + infielders in the outfield = run
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 I never got how that movie was scary. Tweety really creeped me out - I always knew there was a sociopath beneath his cute Cindy Brady like lisp.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 I never got how that movie was scary. If Birds ever decide to do that It would become scary quick The trip to work would be much more dramatic.

I mean, if people decided to wink in real life as much as they do on the internet ... it would become scary quick. The trip to work would be much more dramatic.
Linus Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 No jump on that hit. Really wish we could have outfielders in the outfield
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 With both starters out, it should get interesting down the stretch.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 No jump on that hit. Really wish we could have outfielders in the outfieldWhy not outfielders in the infield?

D. Hocking Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 I like how you got Heckle and Jeckle in there. I can't take credit for the work - but I do think they are due for a comeback movie.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 I like how you got Heckle and Jeckle in there. I always get them mixed up. Is Heckle the blonde?

I just assume that they are blinking and their left eye is stuck.
