DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Nice loss on Molitor again. That is 3 on him so far this year.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 How...do you take a pitch like that with two strikes. Jesus.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Dozier strikes out looking on a fastball right down the middle of the plate.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 So you are sayin there's a chance. Yes. At least there was. Oh well. I like the never say die attitude. We came close...
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Dozier strikes out looking on a fastball right down the middle of the plate. All star indeed.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Yes. At least there was. Oh well. I like the never say die attitude. We came close...Meh. The offense should have figured out how to not play like garbage earlier in the game.
70charger Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 You didn't miss anything. Dammit.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Dozier strikes out looking on a fastball right down the middle of the plate. I'm sure there are worse ways to go...
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 At least KC is trailing in Oakland -- 0 to 2 in the 4th.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Yes.At least there was.Oh well. I like the never say die attitude. We came close... Exactly! Never say die, is probably why I'm still alive.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Dozier strikes out looking on a fastball right down the middle of the plate.I'm sure any of us hit at least a double off that.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Once again the Twins have a chance to build on a little bit of success and they yet again fall flat on their face, against a lowly opponent nonetheless. Perhaps they have another run in them some month down the line, but not looking good right now. The thrill is gone, as they say.
stocker08 Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Just watches a perfect pitch. Way to go, Dozing.

We are in the thick of things, which is more fun than what we have been experiencing as of late.
mikeee Provisional Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 brewers seem to have our number this year.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 That's a tad bleak. We are in the thick of things, which is more fun than what we have been experiencing as of late. And what are all those birds doing gathering out there?

Here's to "thick!" And thanks for the company, even if i vanished for a chunk o' the game... Milone threw good. Defense was there for stuff not out of the park. And i wasn't paying close enough attention, but with Robinson, even the pinch hitters run everything out.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 And what are all those birds doing gathering out there? Getting ready to **** on my car.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Oh yeah, and kudos to Torii with a third dinger in the series. That should give him a full place setting (unless he eats at them fancy dives w/ salad forks and soup spoons)
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 One more hit by us -- Dozier -- and one less by them -- Lind's -- and we're smoking the victory see-garr. Oh well, tomorrow's another day.

Better days are ahead, but these things need to be remedied soon if we hope to continue to compete this year.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 And real chopsticks. Now i got the image of someone catching a ball between two bats...
